We’re happy to announce that in cooperation with GE we’ve started new Smallworld project for American provider of communications infrastructure. The end customer operates worldwide and manages c.a. 20 million kilometers of fibers.

Regarding the project itself, our team will be responsible for:

Requirements alignment and analytical workshops

Migration from currently used solution to Physical Route Manager (PRM)

Implementation of data model changes in PRM

Smallworld Logical Network Inventory installation

Remote and on-site Smallworld trainings

Additional integrations between various systems

It’s worth noting that in January our team also kicked-off migration from custom solution to Smallworld Physical Network Inventory and PRM for a multi-utility company from The Netherlands (operating among others in The Hague, Utrecht and Rotterdam). The project covers upgrade of current database, migration of customer connection data into PRM standardized model as well as various trainings and additional support.
