The project is subsidized by the European Union with the European Regional Development Fund under the Smart Growth Operational Programme 2010-2014. It’s also a part of the “Fast Track” competition organized by the National Centre for Research and Development.

OPTYMALIZATOR is a system for automated task assignment designed for highly volatile conditions and geographically dispersed task locations. It uses artificial intelligence and spatial optimization algorithms that aim to minimize carbon footprint as it’s an important social and economic factor. One of the flaws of the existing solutions is their dependence on static data delivered to a system.

Thanks to machine learning and artificial intelligence methods, this project will constantly improve input data used in the allocation algorithm through e.g. dynamic task duration setting. Additionally, it will forecast parameter values that have never been considered before, such as parking time. Including client data and information collected after system implementation will adapt it to the industry and geographic distribution of tasks.

Target users of the system include companies hiring mobile workers (telecommunications, energy, gas, heating, maintenance services) as well as transport companies in the TSL sector. The project results will allow those companies to achieve a competitive advantage and optimize their operations based on the project outcomes and their own data collected before and after the implementation.

The full project cost equals 3 958 559,44 PLN and granted funding equals 2 767 134,96 PLN.
