What processes does Mobile HeatGrid support?

Periodic inspections

  • You will analyze the inspection plan status.
  • You will check the dates of the most recent facility inspections.
  • In the mobile app, you will check the history of work performed at the facility: what tasks were carried out and when.
  • You will plan modernization work better thanks to structured data on the condition of the facilities (on the frequency of faults and repairs performed

Seasonal and operational switches of nodes

  • You will accurately account for heat unavailability to your customers by recording the exact time of switching the heat supply on/off (emergency and seasonal).
  • You won’t lose information about switches (e.g., of a single node in a housing community).
  • You will analyze the time of the switches compared to the commitment date and check whether they were performed according to schedule.
  • You will gain immediate access to switch data in the GIS system (data on completed tasks is transferred to the system without delay).

Valve Switches

  • In the Mobile HeatGrid, barrage valve changes are recorded in real time, and the information in the GIS system is updated automatically. As a dispatcher, you will, therefore, gain insight into the network status.

Outages

  • You will gain access to a map of the district heating network on mobile devices.
  • You will have access to affected facilities details.
  • Notifications about network outages from technicians will be sent immediately to the GIS system.

How Does Mobile HeatGrid Work?

Mobile HeatGrid has a modular design and comprises a network inventory system, which provides information about necessary fieldwork on the network, as well as a field service management (FSM) system – GeoTask DH – for managing operations on the district heating network.

DH.GIS network inventory system:

Models network resources involved in the processes of cyclic network maintenance, seasonal network switches, valve switches, network outage troubleshooting.

Stores collected data (from inspections, failures, etc.).

Generates reports based on collected data (e.g., failure rate, inspection data for modernization plan, etc.).

Provides information about whether fieldwork is required. Based on this the GeoTask DH application generates tasks for technicians.

You already have your own GIS system?

We will integrate it with the module of Mobile HeatGrid responsible, for the allocation and monitoring of tasks in the field (GeoTask DH).

GeoTask DH application

The application is used to record, manage, and schedule tasks for field workers related to network operations. It also enables real-time monitoring of work progress and report generation.

GeoTask DH is integrated with the network inventory system, which provides comprehensive information about the district heating network.
