We are pleased to announce another award for Globema. On March 9th, during the gala of the 12th Economic Forum TIME, we received an award for companies particularly involved in the development of the ICT market in Poland and Europe, promote the implementation of modern technologies, improve the standards and quality of products and services offered and support innovative transformation of the digital industry.
We were nominated and awarded in the category Innovation and Development in the ICT sector: for developing and implementing innovative IT solutions based on maps, geospatial data and artificial intelligence. Other companies nominated in the same category are GovTech Polska – for the programme: “We connect the public sector with the best services of entrepreneurs” and CD Projekt – for skillfully combining innovative technical solutions with the Polish culture of science fiction novels.
“This is an extremely valuable award for us, because it is presented and means a recognition by ICT professionals who know the market very well from the inside out – says Marek Gondzio, CEO and co-founder of Globema – The nomination itself with so well-known co-nominees like CD Projekt and GovTech Poland was already a meaningful distinction for Globema. The award means for us a special recognition of our way of building the company through investments in research and development with constant focus on innovation and, above all, of business achievements in their practical implementation“
It was the 12th edition of the Economic Forum TIME and Globema was a partner of this event. The leading theme of this year’s edition of the Forum was the development of 5G networks and the evolution of the digital industry in the legal context. On the second day of the conference, the participants discussed new technologies in industry and the use of artificial intelligence. On this very day, in the panel “AI – technological basis for Industry 4.0”, also took part Marek Gondzio. Watch a video!
“Artificial intelligence algorithms were implemented in our projects several years ago. They concerned distributed energy, for example forecasting the production of energy from renewable sources. (…) That is why we are ready and easy to take the next step.” – said Marek.
