In May 2025, we had the pleasure of participating in one of the most significant conferences dedicated to data and automation – Peak of Data and AI, held in Seattle. Globema, a VAR Partner of Safe Software, was represented by three experts: Karolina Borkowska-Brożek (Product Manager FME), Joel Swanson (Americas Business Leader), and Ian Oliver (Technical & Project Consultant). The conference provided an excellent opportunity to meet FME users from around the world, exchange experiences, and explore the latest trends and applications of the Platform.
The participants had the opportunity to attend over 100 sessions delivered by Safe Software experts and invited speakers from around the world, who shared their insights on using the FME Platform and showcased real-world applications across five thematic tracks:
FME Masterclass – advanced techniques and best practices in FME,
Smart Utilities & Energy – FME applications in the energy and utilities sector,
FME Out of the Box – creative and unconventional FME use cases,
GIS & Data Nexus – geospatial data integration.
Presentation: Accelerating FTTH Network Investment with FME
During our session titled “From Data to Deployment. Speed up FTTH Network Investment Decisions with FME Platform”, we demonstrated how spatial data, automation, and the FME Platform can significantly accelerate the planning process for FTTH network investments.
We showcased how to quickly generate preliminary network designs, assess their profitability, and optimize deployment – all to maximize return on investment.
Globema Recognized at the Safe Software Partner Summit
The day before the official start of the conference, we attended the Partner Summit, an event dedicated to Safe Software’s partners. It was a valuable occasion to strengthen our collaboration with the Safe Software team and other international partners, share FME implementation experiences, and learn about the platform’s development roadmap.
