Globema has the great pleasure to invite you to the Smart Geospatial Solutions Conference, which will be held on 30-31 May 2012. The 14th edition of this international, annual meeting will be organized at the Anders Hotel Resort & SPA in Stare Jablonki located in the beautiful area of the Masurian Lakeland in Poland, just a week before the UEFA European Football Championship in Poland & Ukraine.


The conference shall focus on the following technical, industry-specific topics:

  • Network Inventory, Design and Management in Utilities & Telecoms
  • Mobile Workforce Management
  • Smart Grid and Smart Metering
  • Geospatial Data Processing

 

As each year, we will present the latest products and technologies offered by Globema, GE Digital Energy and other Partners. You will have the opportunity to take a closer look on some innovative solutions built on products such as Smallworld, Field Force Automation, PowerOnFusion, Oracle, FME and many more. The conference presentations will address issues related to operational savings, maximizing resource utilization, return on investment for mobile workforce management and network inventory systems, data management services and quality assurance.

Be a part of this established and exciting conference to meet us face to face, participate in the workshops, share experiences and see how we deliver real business value to our customers and partners. It’s going to be an action-packed event and we hope for as strong attendance as we had last year in Warsaw (over 150 participants). The whole conference will be held just one week before the European Football Championships 2012 in Poland and Ukraine, so the networking program will contain many attractions all around this huge sport event!

The conference guests will have a opportunity to watch the unique football skills of Soccer ART - currently the best Freestyle Football team in Poland. There will also be a mega table-football tournament (full size version of the traditional table-football, where participants are attached to the bars via a harnessed belt).

 

 

 

Venue and surroundings

 

The conference will be held at the Hotel Anders Resort & Spa, beautifully located directly by the lake Szelag Maly and nearby the Taborska Pine Reserve. This picturesque hotel hosts various conferences and events, including the famous beach volleyball tournament “FIVB Swatch World Tour Mazury Orlen Grand Slam” held here annually. The Masurian Lake District – the natural environment of our conference venue, was among the finalists of last year's global vote for the New 7 Wonders of Nature. Participating in the event can be a great opportunity to explore this beautiful region and find out why it is one of the most attractive locations for European tourism.
